Saturday, March 24th, Helstar will be celebrating the 30 year mark in Houston where it all began!  Helstar is known for putting Houston on the Heavy Metal map with their Combat Records releases, Burning Star and Remnants of War, then more notably for the Metal Blade releases of Distant Thunder and Nosferatu, all in the 80s.  The duo of Barragan and Rivera teamed up again in 2006, and the rest, as they say is history.  Helstar have been unstoppable ever since.
