“Heavy In Houston” documentary to be released on DVD

After a successful premiere showing of the documentary, “Heavy in Houston,” at Acadia Bar and Grill July 29th, Derek Norman and Advantage Point Video have decided to release the non-profit film on DVD.  The film is an expression of the passion that Derek has witnessed in the Houston underground Metal scene over the past two years.

“This is a non-profit documentary look into the Houston rock/metal scene over the last two years. We intend to show the world why HOUSTON ROCKS!”

The DVD will be free, however, due to the nature of non-profit and no income from sale of the DVD,  Advantage Point Video have set up a Kickstarter.com page to fund the project.  There are pledge levels to the project which get you a movie poster, the DVD, or both.  All information can be found at the link below, as well as a review of the movie.
