ASS, uhhhh right on!  Definitely peeked my interest before even listening.  I think I said, “Yup, gotta check that out!”  So my first introduction musically was this amazing YouTube video of Smoke Drugs.  I believed I laughed out loud (not lol’d) and hollered, “Hell yeah!”  Made me feel as if I should’a been there for that one.  Whew!  A great, rockin’, drankin’, brotherly/sisterly….and sister on sister [hahahaha] good time, but a great, great vibe.  Great video.

Take all the shitty recordings of that 1st generation of punk and merge it with today’s production, ma’an.  Daycare Swindlers, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Anthrax…and then there is this sweet doomy thing at the beginning of Smoke Drugs that’s fuckin sweet too!

The album is called Shitty Wizard VS. Super Satan, and the cover has a demon coming out of the ground who’s removed his wizard face…uhhh FUCKIN RIGHT!  Ayait, Imma stop ridin’ their dicks here…each song breathes with its own spirit and attitude, but I keep coming back to the production.  I’ve heard a handful of punk lately where they tried to match the shitty production from back then, for what?  It was great at the time cause it was the best around, but I am a fan of; if you can make it better, make it.  And ASS did just that with a middle finger up yer “ass.”
